The lotus dream – a dream within a dream

With the following words, Lotus Grandmaster Wei Ling Yi introduces the meaning of the lotus dream:

“Dreams are natural. They are part of being human and manifest themselves metaphorically through images, sounds and feelings that arise in different areas of the brain. We say that life itself is like a dream, a great awakening in a great dream. A dream is an expression of consciousness. Dreams are anchored in human consciousness. We dream from birth.

Everything we dream and see in our waking state, such as the sunrise, the moonrise, the opening of a lotus flower, is called the “heart of the dream”. The dream within the dream is the lotus dream and in the dream appears: “I AM A LOTUS FLOWER”. This dream is directly related to our cultivation. The dream is a training ground for the DAO with various scenes of different origins. It is said that a dream comes from a parallel space-time. It is a quantum entanglement in which two times and spaces overlap.

Dreams can also appear through memories from past lives. The lotus dream, on the other hand, can be described as a phenomenon that leads the cultivating person into a mysterious dream world in which the dreamer can feel the flow of cosmic energy. The world of dreams shows us that higher dimensional spaces exist in this world. People can enter higher dimensions of time and space through their consciousness in dreams.

If we look at the dream as a cultivation method of the lotus dream, then we say: “EVERYTHING IS LIKE A DREAM, EMPTY AS A LOTUS FLOWER.” How can we fulfil this dream? A good method is to unfold a pure heart with our ten fingers. This means that if we can keep the true qualities of the heart in the dream, it shows that we have entered the clear, true path and we will make fewer detours. Metaphorically, we then say: This person will clear the mud without soiling themselves. This also implies the expression of a soul dream. At this level, the causes of illnesses can reveal themselves in dreams.”
