**Dear Lotus Friends and Interested Guests,**
We warmly invite you to take part in a special spiritual cultivation event:
**“Repentance – A Ritual of Forgiveness and Renewal”**

For the first time, the YiXue Education Center opens its doors for the Grand Repentance Ceremony in front of the sacred Lotus Altar **“Lian Hua Tai”** – an event that connects hearts around the world.
Let us pause together, repent with sincerity, purify, and draw new strength.

**What to bring for the Lotus Altar Ceremony:**

* 3 candles in different colors (approx. 9 x 16 cm or 8 x 15 cm)
* 3 unopened packs of incense sticks
* 7 flags or pennants, either single-colored, tri-colored, or seven-colored, sewn or purchased, rectangular or triangular
(You may also bring pennants for family members. They will be hung and moved by the wind – a symbol of connection and transformation.)
* 1 potted flower **per person** for the Lotus Altar

### **Why and what should we repent?**

In our lives – consciously or unconsciously – we have hurt other beings.
Through carelessness, we have lost sight of our true heart, our compassion, and our sincerity.
We carry guilt, attachments, and old burdens within us.
Now is the time to pause – with clarity and humility.

Let us speak the words from the depths of our soul:
**“I am sorry. I have behaved wrongly.”**

**“In my countless lives, I have caused suffering to sentient beings through ignorance, greed, and attachment.
Today, I deeply repent and sincerely ask for forgiveness:
I am sorry. I have made mistakes. I ask for forgiveness and vow never to repeat this mistake.
From today on, I wish to repent, transform for the better, do good deeds, and live virtuously – out of gratitude to all beings.”**
