Yin New Year - the Year of the Snake

An online event with spiritual teachings and abundant Qi for all interested participants. We welcome the Yin New Year—the Year of the Snake in the Wood Element. We will listen to peace messages from Wei Ling Yi and receive fresh, pure Qi to start the new Yin Year successfully. You are all warmly invited!

From January 29, 2025, to February 16, 2026, we will be in the Year of the Wood Snake. According to the Chinese calendar, the reign of the Wood Snake represents a calm period without upheavals or catastrophes. The year 2025 brings a feeling of inner peace, allowing us to strive for personal transformation. We leave behind the fiery energies of the Dragon Year (2024) and approach things more thoughtfully and calmly.

**THE SNAKE IN THE WOOD ELEMENT**
In China, the Snake is a symbol of wisdom and luck. Combined with the Wood element, this meaning is amplified, bringing plenty of positive tendencies for the new year of 2025.

Snakes are intelligent, thinkers, and inventors within the zodiac. They prefer to take on the role of a wise observer rather than a daring doer. Instead of tackling everything with ambition and dominance as was seen with the Wood Dragon year, the Year of the Wood Snake invites us to live our lives with more reason and goodwill. We approach everything with greater calm, giving us the chance to mature and grow through challenges.

A positive aspect is that during the reign of the wise Snake, we are less likely to be swept up in emotional outbursts. Thanks to the calming influence of the Wood Snake, it becomes easier to find wise and fair solutions and better manage our emotions.

We wish all Lotus friends and their families a happy Year of the Snake in the Wood element,

filled with health, joy, and peace.

**Spring Festival and Yin New Year**

The YiXue culture celebrates the Spring Festival and the beginning of the new Yin Year with all Lotus friends to say goodbye to the old, fulfilled year energy and welcome the new year’s energy. On this special day, we also ask the heavens for a prosperous new year and wish health, happiness, peace, and long life to all people, living beings, and the Earth.

The Spring Festival is a major celebration in YiXue culture and includes a solemn ceremony. We celebrate together, singing and dancing to welcome the new year and spring, and to bid farewell to the old year. The altar is adorned with fruit, cakes, nuts, the five grains, and many sweets as a sign of respect and gratitude for the abundance of life.

During this luminous celebration with Grandmaster Wei Ling Yi, pure cosmic primordial energy, YiQi, flows from the East to the Earth. We receive the Heavenly Qi and connect it with the Earth’s Qi, harmonizing human Qi. We meditate together on the natural cosmic laws, discovering the unified synchronization of the laws of nature between Heaven, Earth, and Humanity.

We let go of the depleted Qi of the old year and receive fresh, new Qi for the new year.

“On this day, immortal beings, the Saints, descend from Heaven to Earth,” explains Wei Ling Yi, “to support and bless this special day and the people with their light. We ask Heaven for a good new year and wish all people, living beings, and the Earth health, happiness, peace, and long life.”

Anyone who has experienced Wei Ling Yi knows: In his lectures, which usually don’t follow a defined topic, questions are answered, and wishes are fulfilled, even if we only formulate them silently in our hearts.
