We give thanks for the abundant gifts we have received in this successful year – both on the material and the spiritual level. With grateful hearts we bow, and at the same time repent for our mistakes and imperfections – before the beauty and generosity of Heaven, Nature, and the Moon Goddess Chang’E.

Amidst hundreds of pumpkins, we will gather on the Lotus Qi Field to practice together, recite mantras, enjoy pumpkin soup and Lotus tea, and absorb the special energies of fire and the autumn full moon.

You are welcome to bring your families to this special celebration, so that they too may be richly blessed.

Please bring flowers, fruit, round cakes (e.g. mooncakes), pastries, nuts, or sweets if possible. Everything will be blessed by Sifu and infused with the auspicious energies of the full moon to strengthen our Qi, our health, and our holistic consciousness.

The Meaning of the Moon Festival – Grandmaster WEI LING YI explains:

“Symbolically, the Moon Goddess Chang’E scatters flowers, seeds, and sacred, fertile dew drops upon the earth to bless a bountiful harvest. In connection and gratitude, people come together to celebrate, to enjoy the beauty of the moon and the mooncakes.”

Preparation Notes:

• The setup with hundreds of pumpkins begins Monday morning and should be completed by 4:00 PM. Together we will decorate the World Lotus Center and prepare it for the arrival of Chang’E, so that a wonderful interaction may unfold.

• Please wear warm, clean, and light-colored clothing.

• Heartfelt donations are welcome. Those who cannot contribute financially are warmly invited to support through Gong-De work during setup.

• Even in autumn and winter, the work at the World Lotus Center continues, creating a powerful, radiant Lotus Qi Field that attracts people from near and far.
