Even if we often forget it in the West, having enough food and clean drinking water every day and always is not a matter of course for many people in the world. Every loaf of bread, every glass of water, every fruit and vegetable enables us to live. They are gifts from heaven and earth to us humans. But in this abundance in which we live, we often forget that the number of hungry people worldwide is increasing daily. Wei Ling Yi appeals to us all:

“Let us return to gratitude for the fruits of the earth.

Let us value every loaf of bread.

Let us save every grain.

Let us eat more consciously and less.” Wei Ling Yi

Let’s start with ourselves – What can each of us do?

In his lecture on 9 October, Grandmaster Wei Ling Yi will give an in-depth introduction to the YIXUE eating culture and healing fasting method YI QI BI GU. BI GU is a holistic diet and cultivation method that trains and raises the awareness of a healthy lifestyle within us.

Eating less, eating consciously and naturally – for example vegetarian or vegan – would directly solve many of the world’s problems associated with a gigantic global machinery of food production.

A conscious way and culture of eating, which we learn through the BI GU fasting method, is thus also an appreciation of life, nature and all living beings and contributes naturally to harmony on earth.

At the same time, the BI GU fasting method goes far beyond a healthy dietary method. BI GU trains the spiritual, mental willpower, increases the strength of the heart and soul, and through this form of spiritual development enables one to overcome obstacles and even survive famines.

THE UN warns – a critical point has been reached!

From the point of view of experts, too, it is high time to rethink and take new paths. Only a few months ago, the United Nations (UN) announced that famines have increased dramatically worldwide in 2020. In many parts of the world, the Covid 19 pandemic and natural disasters have triggered severe recessions and made access to food more difficult. One-tenth of the world’s population is undernourished and a critical tipping point has long been reached, the UN says. The world must act immediately to stop this devastating trend, it said, calling for international solidarity, friendship and solution-oriented cooperation to finally end world hunger.

All those who know Wei Ling Yi have already experienced it: In his lectures, which usually do not follow a defined theme, questions are answered and wishes fulfilled, even if we only formulate them inwardly in silence.
