CONTENT LECTURE

On 11 February, Lotus Grandmaster Wei Ling Yi will deepen high spiritual knowledge in his metaphorical lecture into which we will dive together. He introduces his talk with the following words: 

“The flowers in emptiness, the flowers in the sky are the most beautiful flowers in the world and the most beautiful flowers in the whole cosmos. The flowers of emptiness in the sky come and go, arise and pass away. They are free, free from restrictions of laws.

What does emptiness mean? 

To emptiness we also say: it is “zero – 0”, a circle, like an egg. Emptiness is a revolving nothingness in endless circulation. Emptiness has no beginning and no end. It is formless, phaseless, intangible, and blurred.

Thus the natural emptiness of the flower is the flower in the zero state. It is illusory. It does not exist – neither in heaven nor in the void. It is not material, it is not tangible, and yet it is an appearance. If we look at the flower of emptiness from a distance, it is like a dream, illusory and unreal. However, if we unite the celestial flower of emptiness, unite its emptiness and quality, then the flower and our heart are ONE.

When you see and recognise the original essence of the flower, then you have truly seen the flower of emptiness. Then the heart has looked and recognised. Then the flower of emptiness blossoms. The flower of the heart is radiant and fragrant. The heart is relaxed and happy. The flower of emptiness in the heart blossoms in the sky and laughs.

The flower in the heart is an empty appearance. It is illusory, a concept. Through the power of our thoughts we can see the flower. The emptiness is the flower and the flower is the emptiness. The heart is the flower and the flower is the heart. As soon as emptiness appears truly, everything is in emptiness – the heart and also the flower. In a moment of emptiness without feeling and without knowing, the true essence is realised. The flowers in the heart are in emptiness. In the highest subtlety you see the miracle of the original essence: peace, purity and absolute clarity. In this essence you recognise my heart. I am a flower of emptiness. My consciousness has the power and the heart quality of Gong De, the power to enlighten others. Achieved is the perfect Gong De, a Gong De without limits.

The flower of successful cultivation reaches the true shore. On this shore, the heart remains unmoved even when emotions arise. We perceive emotions and feelings, but we do not let them affect us. We remain in balance, we remain at peace, we remain in our centre. The quality of an unmoved heart does not change whether it is empty or not. When selfish thoughts and intentions are at rest, the heart is stable and calm. Emptiness remains in emptiness, the flower remains in emptiness. In this state of BEING, the ONE – the universal origin of all BEING – is experienced.

The original heart remains unchanged. There are no flowers in the sky. Knowledge disappears in the flower of emptiness. The cosmic original energy – the YiQi – turns. The flower in emptiness blossoms. The heart laughs, the flower opens. The consciousness of wisdom unfolds and the true essence of emptiness appears.

The flower of emptiness presents a world in which the heart does not move, just as the true essence does not move. The ten directions of the cosmos and the three worlds are filled, beautiful and full of colour – this is what the flower of emptiness reflects.

When the heart laughs, the flower opens – everywhere, limitless, without beginning and without end. The entire emptiness fills the entire time and space of the universe.

The great natural law – the DAFA – symbolises unity. This oneness must unfold from the heart. Only then can we say, “I am a flower in emptiness, a flower in emptiness am I.” A flower in emptiness is selfless. It has neither its own problems nor its own pain. And we say, “I am neither problems nor pain, I am a lotus flower!”
